God in Islam:
The word Allah is thought to be derived by contraction from al-ilah, which means "the god".The Actual word used in Quran is Rabb. There is no proper equivalent for Rabb in English language. It means the One and the Only Lord for all the universe, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,Owner,Planner,Sustainer,Provider,Organizer,Cherisher,the Giver of security, Master, the Holy, the One Free from all defects, the Giver of security
He is Allah beside Whom La ilaha illa Huwa ( non has the right to be worshipped but He), the King,the Watcher over His creatures, the All-mighty, the Compeller, the Supreme.
Glorified is Allah!(High is He) above all that they associate as partners with Him.
He is Allah,the creator, the inventor of all things,the Bestower of forms.
To Him belong the Best Names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify Him. And He is the Al-Mighty, the All-Wise.He is the lord of two easts and two wests, The Face of your lord full of Majesty and Honour will remain forever. Whosoever is in the heavens and on earth begs of Him( its needs from Him).Every day He is (engaged) in some affair (such as giving honour or disgrace to some, life or death to some etc.)!
All praise is to the One to Whom all Dignity, Honour and Glory are due; the Unique with perfect attributes, Who begets not, nor is He begotten. He sent His Messengers and Prophets to guide humanity towards monotheism; to worship Him Alone, the only One Worthy of worship, and to warn them of the eternal dire consequences of ploytheism, associating partners with One Allah and the worship of creatures.
